Greetings! I’m Bamboo, a wanderer from the enchanting lands of Thailand. Eight years ago, I chose to leave behind the confines of a traditional office job in Northern Thailand to embark on a journey of self-discovery that would forever reshape my life’s trajectory.
Much like many, I was molded by the notion of achieving society’s concept of “success”: attend university, secure a plush job in the bustling city of Bangkok, marry, have children, and live happily ever after. Yet, little did I know that pursuing this predefined path would lead me to a life void of meaning and joy.
In 2014, a transformative hiatus from my job presented me with the opportunity to traverse Thailand for five months. It was during this time that I encountered the liberating power of solo travel – an experience that ignited my passion for capturing life’s fleeting moments through photography.
Through my explorations, I stumbled upon the captivating beauty of Phuket, and its allure instantly captured my heart. Over the past eight years, I’ve immersed myself in this captivating paradise, uncovering its hidden gems day by day.
Reflecting on my time here, a thought emerged: “Why not share my wealth of knowledge about Phuket?”
In these eight years, much has evolved, but my unwavering passion to offer travel insights and picturesque spots on this platform remains steadfast. While there’s no shortage of information about Phuket on the internet, my focus is on sharing my personal experiences and life within this vibrant community.
Who could be better suited to shed light on the essence of Phuket than someone who has embraced it as their own? Is it someone writing from a distant land, a corporate giant concerned only with profit, or a simple soul like me, striving for a genuine existence?
In my eyes, the answer is quite clear.
A spirited, humble woman at heart, my aim is to convey reality with sincerity. I’ve deliberately steered clear of any external influences, hence why I refrain from hosting advertisements.
Like everything in life, I’ve invested copious amounts of time, energy, and money to delve into the realms of websites, blogs, and all things digital. My aspiration is to generate funds that fuel my dream of sharing unbiased and unadulterated information for travelers across the globe.

My New Chapter: Bamboo Hydroponics Farm 🌱
As much as I love sharing the hidden gems of Phuket, my journey recently took an exciting turn. During my time exploring and connecting with this beautiful island, I found myself inspired to contribute something more tangible to the community I’ve come to call home.
That’s how Bamboo Hydroponics Farm was born—a small farm with a big heart, nestled in the Paklok area of Thalang. This new venture allows me to blend my passion for sustainability with my desire to provide the freshest, healthiest salads to the people of Phuket.
Setting up the farm has been both a learning experience and a labor of love, from studying the latest hydroponic technology to nurturing each plant with care. For me, this farm represents more than just a business—it’s a chance to live my values and share them with others. It’s also a way to support my dream of keeping this blog free and filled with genuine, unbiased content.
