Layan Beach

Layan Beach is the name of the northern end of Bangtao Beach on the west coast of Phuket. Unlike most beaches on Phuket’s west coast, it is still a quiet area, where you can lie back and relax in the shade of the tall pine trees that line the beach.
In recent years, thanks to the expansion of the Laguna beach area, it has become popular for bathers in the Surin and Bangtao area.
In fact, the beach is one of the most beautiful, and the sea is truly wonderful.

Most of the people who visit this beautiful beach are Thais and expats and everything looks the same as it did 10 years ago. The sea is quite calm here because the beach is sheltered by Koh Kala – a small island located in its northern part.

In recent years, small bars and restaurants could be found on the beach, as well as deck chairs for relaxing on the beach.

Unfortunately currently, all bars and restaurants have closed, as they are unauthorized. Still, it’s still a wonderful place.
Currently, if you want to visit this wonderful place, you will have to organize everything you need for a day at the beach yourself.
You definitely won’t regret it.,
In my opinion, the best beach in Phuket.
