Black Rock ( ผาหินดำ )

Black Rock Viewpoint is a little challenging (15 minute walk) to reach but definitely worth it. To get there, hike into the rainforest above Ao Sane Beach to enjoy stunning views south of Phuket, including Nai Harn Beach, Phromthep Cape and Koh Man. This little-known viewpoint is known as Pa Hin Dam in Thai (ผา หิน ดำ).

Black Rock Viewpoint looks like a large terrace made of earth above the cliff. It features a huge black granite stone, hence the name. The exceptional view and remoteness of the place – you are in the jungle after all – gives you a rewarding feeling and a sense of freedom.
